Last night I did something amazing. Yup, I had the opportunity to tap into the world of hosting live events thanks to SyceGame.
The Kickback, powered by Rebirth was held Nov. 30 at the Sports Zone in Georgetown with Dj Mali B. This was a live showcase with performance from Kyonte, Prince Akeem, Visto and Super Nike Nando. Not only was there entertainment, The Kickback provided a good place to vibe, network and unwind after a long week.
I will admit I was a little nervous because it was my first time hosting an event like this, but that quickly went away once I met the artists, and welcomed everyone.
This was also my first time working with my new videographer Vincent! Keep an eye out for the video and full write up on this event, and know I left very impressed by each artist who performed that night. Yup, Miguel, J. Cole, Kendrick Lamar, and Jay – Z better watch out because the DMV definitely has lethal talent waiting to blow up! Stay tuned for more because You Don’t Want To Miss A Beat When TulaTalks!
