Last Friday I has the opportunity to shoot with the talented Syranno of @PhotosbySyranno. I must admit I didn’t know what I was walking into. I was tagged in a post on Instagram by the make up artist Giselle Melrose that was looking for models who “didn’t mind getting dirty.”

I agreed to it because I liked the work she did as a make up artist and I liked the photographers pictures, plus a free shoot and networking opportunity! Uh count me in!

Of course I asked my boyfriend to accompany me because it was a new area and I don’t like going places a lone ( I tend to get lost ) lol

Shortly after I arrived we began to start make up. I had no clue what look they were going for at first..I just telling myself “Lauren you are here as a model…pretend like you’re on Top Model..just go with the flow and wait until it all comes together. Soon after my make up was done, I sat in the chair to get my hair done by J. Maria Creations. Once again I had no clue what was about to take place. I started to see yellow and green hair being pulled out of the suitcase along with oranges, I thought to myself where are they going to stick that? After about 30 minutes of total hair construction a masterpiece was created, “Chaquita” was born and the magical sticky photo shoot began!

Overall I had a blast and look forward to doing something fun and creative like this again! I am so use to taking beauty head shots, it was fun to walk into a situation and just go with the flow. Oh and did I mention that he had the camera connected to a huge monitor so we could see the photos as they were being shot, so I knew what to fix as we were shooting..pretty cool and useful. I like to evaluate myself and fix what’s not working so we don’t waste time.

Be sure to check out and show the team behind these photos some love on IG! Photographer: @photosbysyranno Make Up Artist: @themelroseexperience Hair Stylist: @jmariecreations
